The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide Features And Specs
The myTouch 3G Slide is one of the latest smart phone offerings on the market from the communications and technology giant T-Mobile. The myTouch 3G Slide is equipped with a range of excellent capabilities and features for those seeking an affordable smart phone that doesn’t skip out on all the hottest features. I like my myTouch 3G Slide because it utilizes a full QWERTY keyboard, Google’s Android 2.1 operating system, a a user friendly interface that’s customizable to fit my own personal preference, and great quality when I receive or place calls. And what’s great is that I can even purchase a wide range of MyTouch 3G Slide accessories, such as batteries, cases, and screen protectors.
Let’s talk about the first reason why I like the myTouch 3G Slide: its keyboard. While an increasing number of smart phones on the market have switched to completely button free or virtual keyboards, not every consumer needs or wants a virtual keyboard. Personally, I would like to have the ability to actually feel the keyboard under my fingers, and to have that tactile feedback whenever I hit a space bar or a shift key. I get that with the myTouch 3G Slide. I like being able to see the keyboard, and I like being able to touch type with that finger feedback. I seem to also type much faster with a physical keyboard, opposed to those smart phone’s with virtual keyboards. I also like the fact that I have the whole entire keyboard available, opposed to having most of it gone and not being able to register some keys, which is the case with virtual keyboards. And speaking of the screen, it is an impressive one. It’s clear, sharp, and vivid. I’ve looked around and discovered that you can purchase myTouch 3G Slide screen protectors. I have since invested in some, realizing that this is the best way to keep my screen from looking brand new. And beyond the screen, I also looked into myTouch 3G Slide cases to protect the entire body.
Now let us discuss the operating system. More and more smart phones these days have switched from whatever operating systems they used to use to using Google’s Android operating system. I don’t know how well it works on other smart phones, but it works wonderfully on my 3G Slide. I also invested in some extra myTouch 3G Slide batteries, which means I can use my smart phone and Android all day, every day, without worrying about running out of juice. The myTouch 3G Slide is small enough to fit comfortably in my pocket, and I like being able to slide it open and see that keyboard. Additionally, something I didn’t know before purchasing the myTouch 3G Slide is that it supports talk to text with Dragon Dictation. That means I can say what I want to text through my phone.
